Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has been picked as the Green Party presidential nominee for the 2008 election.

She picked journalist and activist Rosa Clemente as her running mate....

Just so we're all in agreement, the system is so bad, it's also not serving the lunatic fringe well. So let's get all excited at the prospect of a party that's even crazier than the Dem and Repubs put together, with a nominee who should be running for a psychiatrist's office, not for president.

All humor aside, I've seen a number of newly-alienated Barack Obama supporters mention that they're considering backing McKinney's Green Party bid.
