I so much wish I could be in New York for 9/11, but it's not happening this year. Ten years is a long time, but decades from now I'm confident that Pamela Geller will be remembered as one of the brightest lights commemorating the fallen. She'll also be remembered for sounding the tocsin of "Never Again." And for that, she takes a lot of grief for all of us who live in dignity and work to preserve our cherished freedoms against the forces of modern totalitarianism.
Here she's interviewed by Ezra Levant, via Blazing Cat Fur:And see Pamela's post, "PAMELA GELLER ON SUN TV WITH EZRA LEVANT: 911 FREEDOM RALLY."

Charles Johnson Denies Obsession with Pamela Geller While Organizing Book Defamation Campaign Against Her on Amazon
Charles Johnson responded to my essay, "Obsessed Much? Charles Johnson Has Written Ten Posts Attacking Pamela Geller Since Anders Breivik's Norway Massacre."
Via Diary of Daedalus, "Charles Johnson’s Blatant Lie."
Pamela responded to this on Wednesday, "LITTLE GREEN ASTROTURDS."
It's weird, demonic even, but progressives have a deranged penchant to attack the livelihood of conservatives. Amy Alkon wrote about the Sadly No! attacks on her, "The Attack On My Book." And of course, Charles Johnson tried to get Patterico fired, "Charles Johnson Impotently Tries to Threaten My Job."
And as readers know, I'm quite familiar with how progressives seek to destroy. See: "W. James Casper is a Coward, a Fraud, and a Liar." That post follows my lengthy attempt to get RACIST = REPSAC to denounce his previous recruitment and sponsorship of workplace harassment and intimidation. Perhaps, if he had a decent soul, he'd try to undo some of the damage he's caused, and that of his progressive blogging cohorts and allies. More on this coming. One of these days I'll get my book manuscript finished, and no doubt we'll be hearing more about this kinda stuff.

Charles denied he’s obsessed with Pam yet he is organizing a campaign to label Pam Geller’s book hate speech on Amazon. If he didn’t care about her, why does he track her every move? Why doesn’t Charles Johnson do a book? The answer is easy, there are enough children’s coloring books. He can't be a man. He's sick. Seriously. He needs psychiatric help.
Charles, be a man and get over her!

Pamela Geller and Political Relevance
You know, when Pamela Geller was featured on the front-page of the Sunday New York Times last October, I thought, "Wow, that's commanding a lot of attention for a blogger." This was of course not long after September 11th, and Pamela's organization staged the big protest against the conquest mosque at Ground Zero. See the report: "Fight Against the 'Mosque'." Pamela also wrote an outstanding book on Barack Obama's post-American presidency, and her blog Atlas Shrugs remains one of the top-ranked blogs on the web. She's mobilized thousands upon thousands of people to join and fight for a cause. And she's traveled the county speaking and educating Americans on Islamic jihad and the stakes of the information battlespace. And I could go on. So I found this debate between Peter Ingemi and Josh Trevino on Twitter the other day pretty interesting, and Peter --- who is Da Tech Guy --- has a write up at The Conservatory, "Pam Geller and Relevance, Part 1: Conventional Wisdom."
In any case, I'm pictured with Pamela last year at her book signing in Los Angeles.

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer: 'The Ground Zero Mosque - The Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks', Calvary Chapel, Mission Viejo, April 9, 2011
Okay, the pictures below are from last night's screening and presentation of Pamela and Robert's film, "The Ground Zero Mosque - The Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks." The crowd in attendance was mostly baby-boomers and retirees. But folks were passionate and very receptive of the program. This was the first time I'd seen the whole thing through. (I saw the first 10 minutes of the movie at CPAC.) It's an excellent documentary which deserves a wide screening. And during the Q & A, Pamela and Robert again developed their theme of combating the lamestream media's enabling of sharia at home. Of course Pamela's talk was outstanding as usual. She reminded the audience that if we want to preserve our country and our security, we have to do it ourselves. "When you wake up in the morning, after rubbing the sleep from your eyes, ask yourself what are you going to do today to save the republic?" She got lots of applause. And for good reason. It's shocking sometimes to see things in their totality, but the movie does that, illustrating what's essentially media malpractice --- and then Pamela and Robert bring it all home at the wrap-up discussion. Now, while Pamela was pleased to report that so far not a brick has been laid at the Cordoba Mosque, er, Park51 initiative, the battle is far from over. And another protest is planned for Ground Zero on September 11th. We're going to need it. See, for example, the lastest whitewash on the Hamas-backing Ground Zero developer Sharif El-Gamal at the April 5th Los Angeles Times, "The Man Behind the Manhattan Mosque."

Pamela Geller Book Signing!
I was surprised to see Robert Stacy McCain out in front of the Skirball Center when I arrived at 7:00pm. Almost soon as we went inside we were posing for photos with Pamela Geller.
I'll have some substantive comments on the full lecture when I have more time. Meanwhile, Robert's got more pictures, "Pamela Geller Goes Hollywood."
